Nathan Persad was born in either Trinidad or Streatham depending on which ex-wife you're asking. He's been recording self-arranged demo things and calling them "albums" for years, although "Since 1978" (available RIGHT HERE, folks!) is the first proper album release. That album was co-produced by "serious" MileHighMusic artist James Tobin.
He drums on a lot of his hero Ceri James' recordings (Ceri was his mentor on the streets of Croydon) and likes crunchy breakfast cereal. He has brown eyes and collects vintage drum kits and Nicholas Lyndhurst sitcoms.
After crowbarring his way into the MileHighMusic office and leaving a demo and a "blackmail" photograph of Rob Symes and Mark Sampson, Christy had no choice but to offer him an audition. Rumour has it he was such an obsessive Ceri James fan as a child that he even rented a flat "on Deptford Broadway" for 7 years!
Nathan has a great single finished and ready for release in October. The first track an uptempo garage bop-pop song called I Bet You Say That To All The Guys backed with the multi-genre instrumental Valentino. Watch this space!
